Went away for a few hours only to come home to a hole in the chicken coop (dug from my poodle) big enough that my road island red Elsa got out! My golden retriever must of got ahold of her because there was patches of feathers in the yard and a few in the bush. We found no blood just a lot of feathers! My husband went into the bush to look for her but only found a few feathers here and there. Question is: could of she survived this if there's no blood or no parts found? Next: could she come back if she is in the bush? It's been one day and her sister Anna misses her:( (daughters named them lol) I have my dogs locked up in hopes she still alive but can't keep them away for ever. It doesn't make sense! Tia

Are you sure your dogs were involved, sounds like a fox or coyote, they will leave trails of feathers as they readjusted their holds on the bird and carry it away, a Fox will dig it's way in.
