Lost our first chicken today :'-(

I came home from work today and found our 1 1/2 year old Partridge Plymouth Rock hen passed away. It was not any hotter than it has been today. I gave them fresh water and they had plenty of food. I don't know what happened! She was fine this morning before work. Just very sad right now! I know its a fact of life, but we love our girls!

So very sorry. I had a hen die unexpectedly and it is heartbreaking.
