Lost our girl last night

We lost a girl last night, I think she had a stuck egg inside. I was going to bring her to the vet but she passed too quickly. Does anyone know what causes that? Could it be her diet?

So sorry for your loss . The BYC community will need a bit more info to crack (chicken egg pun intended ) this case. Maybe the heat? Or is it cold at the moment? Or nice weather? A predator? Maybe she ate something funny? Look at her poops, where they strange or healthy? Any additional info will help! Even pics? (Sorry for all the emojis lol I got over excited with them ).

She’d been having a poopy but, we were watching and cleaning. Then she had weird discharge and Magots ewwwe!

she also had a prolapse that we put back in about 2 months ago.

sometimes calcium deficiency can cause it. a lot of the times though it is just genetics and bad luck. sorry for your loss
