Lost Power & heat dropped in incubator for 6 hrs to 73 deg.

Last night around 8 O' Clock our power went out due to a storm. It was day one of Lockdown so i was kinda freaking out trying to figure out a way to create heat for them. My final decision was to put them in my bra. So i took a shower, to make sure my skin was clean put on a clean bra, and started stuffing eggs! I figure 98.6 is less than 99.5 but it was better than 80. Now i see everyone saying it wasn't a big deal so i feel silly! HAHA! This is my very first incubation with very young eggs so i wasnt even sure any of them would be fertilized. Out of 9 eggs in the bator i have two that are going to be hatching within three days. I CAN'T WAIT!!

So grateful to find this information! Mine was powered off approximately 6 hours and when I turned it back on it read around 75 degrees. I must have bumped the switch but I'll keep them going

None of them made it!
Ugh! I had the same thing happen last night to over 200 eggs and I was feeling pretty hopeful, until I saw your message none survived 🥺 I'll still leave them a few days and check them. All trays are different stages, but 60 chicks and 15 ducklings just went into lockdown so maybe there's hope for a few. Two chuckers had just hatched yesterday and were almost dead, but I moved them to the only one that didn't lose power and they are moving some 🙏
