Mark sucked in a surprised breath when he seen the arrow and attempted to pull himself far enough out of the way that Vorgak would not fall on top of him. With his arms locked behind his back and Vorgak's knee in the way, however, that wasn't so easy. He barely managed to move a couple of inches before the orc fell right on top of him, nearly crushing his right arm as it bent awkwardly under the sudden weight.
It took him a couple of seconds to catch his breath, but then he began wiggling as best he could to free himself. "Yeah... just a little bruised..." He said quietly to Ruby once she had rolled Vorgak off of him.

Draugnot's sharp eyes caught the sound of the arrow, followed by the impact, and knew instantly what had happened. He could see the movement of the bushes as Vorgak fell, but couldn't see Ruby or Mark clear enough to fire his own shot into the trees. It would be a waste of a good arrow. "Do we have to kill again?" He snarled into the trees, taking several aggravated steps towards Luella and Danielle. "Humie show herself, or rest of humie's die!"

In his anger, the small regard that Orkhan had towards human life was beginning to fade quickly. For the amount of work they had completed, he was tempted just to slaughter them all. They were very nearly ready to attack the human settlement, and from there he knew that they would be able to capture new slaves to replace these ones.
In the clearing he knew that they were fairly vulnerable to being hit by another arrow so he tried to move them into the forest. "Get down into the trees." He ordered Grishkah before Draugnot and himself vacated the clearing, leaving Strider's body behind. Knowing that Ruby had heard Draugnot's previous threat to kill Danielle and Luella as well as Strider, he waited for her response. "Come out, come out...humie..." He called towards her general location.
