Lota of Turkeys

We'll be breeding for pure. This is a new project so I'm really excited to see how well it works. We are keeping 2 pairs or trios of each breed. They will be seperated into their seperate breed pens well before laying time.
 
Will you be selling anything? Eggs or chicks?

Those are really nice. We have narragansetts, too, but I'm down to 7. (My black lab killed a couple and one was deformed.)

Right now, we keep ours with the chickens and geese. The only problem is, the geese pull the turkey feather out, then the chickens try to peck them 'til they bleed!! UUUGGGHHH!

Next on the "to-do" list is build a separate turkey house.

Is it possible to breed one breed of turkey to a different turkey breed?

wow, what a nice setup!!

New to chickens, and want some turkeys. I am trying to find info on issues, etc, before we get into it.

I did a search, but have found no for sure on what "blackhead" is...I am assuming it some horrid problem when turkeys eat chicken poo...but what is it???

anybody have discription of disease and cures, etc?
