Coccidiosis- had. Amprolium worked wonders followed by 3 days of vitamins, electrolytes and probiotics.
Upper respiratory- have, kept chicken extra warm, inside, applied vet rx to beak twice a day, she went back out healthy today after 4 day treatment. This is my second time with upper respiratory. First was way back in spring.
Fox attack and dog attack- 2 separate incidents. Both birds culled
Lame chicken- working on it, so far separated and the bird is inside in smaller sized dog crate. I'll keep ya posted.
Sour crop- what a week and a half long nightmare. Ask me how I cured that one. But she is happy, eating and seems to be in charge now out there.
And so you know, owls...they will eat just the head off your chicken/turkey/duck and leave the body. It's been a rough year.
