We had a broiler that wasn't doing well this morning, breathing hard and not moving around so we went ahead and butcherd it. When I was "processing" it there was a lot of fluid inside. The bird is only a pound and a half cleaned ,but there was what seemed to be a cup of water that ran out when I cut into it.
Any idea what that is? Is it ok to eat this bird? The meat and everything else looked fine. Granted I've only done 8 birds now, but I've never seen this before.
