I dont know what’s happening, ive been trying my best to take care of a lot of my hens, roosters and juveniles eyes. Out of nowhere some of my chickens in one spot, somes had or have bubbles in there eyes others dont open there eyes at all, i dont know what to do anymore and the stress is so overwhelming. These birds are a mix of breeding stock, pet onlys, and ones i would sell if they weren’t sick.

Please help!! The first hen has it bad, plus her face is becoming discoloured:(

Once i go outside i can send photos of the other chickens eyes

Bubbly eyes sounds like a respiratory issue. What are the other symptoms?

So far with many of the flock being infected, bubbly eyes and it looks like lethargy in that particular bird, I think it could be one of those bad infections that tend to infect the whole flock and sticks with them forever. I don’t have much experience with it myself. Do some reading on mycoplasma and infectious coryza.

There are some respiratory problems in my flock but i have a amazing veterinarian and i got medication for that, i just have a tight budget so i cant go to him

Some completely healed and i have 4 more left that need to heal

Ill continue medications

I would contact your state poultry extension and ask about testing. I think chances are high it's something like mg but you would want testing to know for sure. Unfortunately if it is mg you will have to close the flock (no birds coming in or going out of the flock) and/or cull them as they will be lifelong carriers even if the symptoms go away

That is horrible news, im a vary popular breeder in my country

Like I said though, see if you can find someone to test them before any decisions are made so you know for sure what you're dealing with
I was medicating the ones in the house, the hen thats the worst (the first photo) something came out of her eye
