Hi everyone ! I got a couple baby chicks to replace my two that got attacked by raccoon. My little barred Plymouth Rock has a lot of poop in her pooper. My kids are concerned but she is pretty lively and acting normal. Is this a concern?

Yes, her bottom should be soaked in warm (not hot) water. Looks like she has pasty butt. If untreated, it could kill the chick because they get backed up.

Yes looks like pasty butt. After washing her butt, dry it with a hairdryer set on low so she doesn’t get cold

I agree it does look like past butt. My two barred rock chicks had it and they couldn't poop. I would definitely wash it off in warm water.
