I made a focaccia for my DH to take to work with him tomorrow for his office's annual holiday dinner. Turned out real nice. I hope to get some orders for Christmas.
You two have made me realize it's time to pull Audrey out of the 'fridge to make some bread.I made a loaf of GF bread (yesterday, since I didn't post this then) and it's tasty.
I get excited about eating "normal" things, like bread. I don't make it often, so it's quite a treat. PBJ sandwich, or once the bread gets a bit stale, as toast.
GF bread is best right away. I'm expecting homemade bread to be dense and chewy right out of the oven. After a day or so, it just seems ... dense. And it seems to dry out more quickly than regular bread, even in a bag.
