Lots of scraping

My chicks are 23 days old today and they are flying around like roadrunners and scrapping like crazy. I hope I don't have a bunch of roosters? Some of my buffs have fluffy tails and some don't. Is that an indication of hens or roosters? Any thoughts?

Not without being able to see them - and at just over 3 weeks even that wouldn't do much for sussing out gender. The behavior you are seeing is universal to both genders - as noted above, they are just "being kids". In another few weeks take some photos and post them - we will be able to give you a good idea of what genders you have. For where you are right now, the only indicator would be if any of them is sprouting considerable comb and wattle development, especially if it's pinking up.
