Lots of snow....started plowing with the tractor...flat tire !!

I feel your pain, last week one of our tractor tires went flat and it snowed about a foot overnight. I had to shovel so my wife could make it to work. Our driveway is about 450 feet long. Later we managed to fix the front flat tubeless tire by wrapping a robe around it and twisting while pumping air into it.

It was the back one...the tractor is a model 544 International , and as far as I can guess is 35-40 yrs old without a cab , leaks hydraulic fluid everyday . We had one of the tire places come out at $90 an hour . We got pretty lucky with a $250 bill . The tube was $70 . Never knew they put calcium in there to add weight . Poor guy was out there in 2 degree weather !

I hear all of ya on the "kids are spoiled " ....my step kids are being pretty good about it....they seem to understand it's a hard year .
