Loud bed time song??

My 6 chicks ( 6-9 wks old) will go in the coop before sunset and get up to there roosts, but they are loud! They sound frantic and scared. But they just get in there spots and go to sleep. Is this normal?

My ladies to the same thing. They are 12-14 wks old. They have been doing this for several weeks. I love to watch them going to roost. All they are doing is jockying for position as to where they will sleep for the night. My Pekin Duck and Indian Runner Drake look up at them and just laugh at them. I think it is just the funniest thing. But after they get their spot it is quiet and off to sleep until the next morning when we go and let them out.
