I just moved my chicks to the new brooder last night. every once in a while a would hear some very loud chripping. so i would go take a look and found that i have one chick that is chripping while asleep......is this normal? sometimes she'll be by herself and sometimes with a group.

I am not sure if it is normal, but it sounds like she is having little chick dreams. [IMG]

Mine do it. Just be running around and suddenly pass out an loudly chirp while sleeping. Then I pick it up and it acts so surprised by it's own noise!!

My baby love birds, while perching and napping, would chirp in their sleep. Really cute. I think is normal. [IMG]
