Loudest and friendliest duck breeds

I would say Calls and Pekins are the loudest. Muscovy being the quietest, along with any drake of any breed. Although the personality of each individual bird will play a role in how loud they will be.

My favorite egg layers are my Welsh Harlequins. Beautiful, calm birds that crank out the eggs. Mine aren't loud, but they do mutter and quack throughout the day. Not like my calls, though. Everyone sounds quiet compared to them!

That was the breed I had my eye on. Thanks for the suggestion.

Sounds like that will be my choice then thanks I was stuck on khaki campbell, appelyard and harlequins.
