"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

My fertile eggs were delivered on yesterday. :celebrate Correction on the breed. I was given a dozen French Black Copper Marans and a dozen Black Copper Marans courtesy of Mr. Robby at JamesMarieFarms in Church Point, LA. Mr. Robby is sooooooooooooooooooooo nice! I fired up the incubator on yesterday and will put them in tonight. Mr. Robby gave me a quick lesson on "How Not To Be A Loser When Incubating 101", , so I feel confident this go round that I may be able to hatch these eggs. :fl

Chicken Yard Death Trap. I guess this hen was stuck in the hay feeder all day. She was just waiting there patiently for me to get back to let her out. Who knows how she got in there in that position. She was fine when I pulled her out. She walked away slowly. :smack Why me??!!!!!!

Yes, I surely am getting it here. I went out this morning in my robe and I felt like Marilyn Monroe when her dressing was flying up all over the place. I DID NOT look as good as her. It was a sight for sore eyes. :/
