"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Hey ya'll. I have a great neighbor who lives down the road who always leaves fresh vegetables and fruit from his garden and yard at my door. Well, he left me a load of green onions, turnip greens, mustard greens, kumquats, lime and lemons. :th

I cleaned and chopped up all of the green onions and put them in freezer bag. I was overwhelmed with green onions but I saw myself threw it. I was curious to know how many green onions was in the bag, so I counted. I cleaned and chopped 74 green onion tops. I love the smell of green onions but I think if I see another green onion top, I'm going to scream. (And he wants me to come and get 3 more rows of green onions.) :th I will also be picking up cauliflower this weekend. He plants all of this for fun and gives it away.

Here is a pic of just some of the green onion tops. I had a big ole bag full.

I wish I had that problem...ahhh if only I could convince dear hubby to move farther from the city. Oh well, guess I'm lucky we found our 4 acres here in BR. Everything here is sooo darn expensive!
