I wish that I could stay overnight but I dont have anyone trained to take care of all of my animals. I have been looking for a pet/farm sitter for almost a year. I completed/typed my Farm Instructions/Directions/What to Do Manuel but I don't have anyone to train. Until then, no overnighters for me. I can't find anyone with enough experience to do the job. A few people have responded to my ad but when I interview them , I get the same old story, "Well we had a few chickens growing up" or "My grandparents had chickens and I would feed them" or "I catch on easy and can learn how to take care of your animals". NOT! This is not an experiement. I guess all of the farm/chicken sitters have chickens of their own and don't have time to take care of someone else's animals.

Well, I have my hubby to take of them so for me it'll be alright!! When we go some place my MIL takes care of them for me!!

The only thing I'm worried about is on the Thursday before is my 21 days on my eggs in the bator so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!

I have to repaint my coop -- paints bought & sitting in the storage shed -- had to get through this knee thing first --

any time Sat's good for me Julie -- just let me know! we're up & about early & we'll catch your peas the night before & have them crated so they'll be ready to go. I agree w/you on the day trip to the Expo--- we deserve a break! We are in the same boat w/our animals; periodically we have to make a trip to Wisconsin to visit Jim's Mom (86 now) & siblings who still live there -- thank goodness my folks live right across the field from us & can take care of our animals -- but on the other hand, the four of us can never go somewhere overnight together, as when they go somewhere we are the pet sitters!

Good luck with the shot BB - hope it doesn't hurt much! I was real nervous about getting my stitches out Mon but they sprayed some stuff on my knee first that numbed it, and I was careful to NOT watch, so it wasn't as bad as I expected.

Yes it was too bad about Shockey. Hope the team does better next year - in spite of all the nutty decisions they make.

Thanks. it wasn't too bad. They sedated me with something that started with a V but wasn't valum. She called it valum x 10. I remember some pressure and that was about it!! The most aggravating thing right now is having to stay in bed!!
