LAMike does!  I'll be making a trip up there in a couple weeks.  If he has any available I can pick them up and bring them back down with me.  A trip to Lake Charles is still shorter than a trip to Haughton!

Thanks, Gracie, but those are the ones I already have in the bator that my husband is probably gonna kill me for lol! I just haven't seen any locally and am wondering if there is anything I need to know about them?

I'm no expert on them, but I don't see why they would be any different than a regular duck (beside laying that cool dark egg!). I'm sure they will be as messy and entertaining as the rest of them lol

I hope it's a SHE. I will probably wait a month or two before I try to handle her to look under there to see what it is. I don't like the feeling of getting bitten by a silly Wabbit.

Julie, look at her neck. If she has that sort of double chin where they pull hair from to line their nests, it's a girl, if not, it's a boy rabbit! I would still wait a month before breeding her and worm her. Rabbits that live on the ground get worms. Not so much inthe winter, but during the summer, they get them. That's why people don't hunt rabbits during hot weather, most of them get worms!

Hello yall sorry havent been popping in very often been crazy with a lil sick one. Was wandering if anyone around lc had any baby ducks looking for something i can raise then maybe eat later on thank yall and ill try to keep in touch a lil better

I have duck eggs in the incubator right now. Some are Muscovys and some are Pekins. I just put them in last weekend so they won't hatch until the end of the month.

I really like my Pekins because they can't fly all over the neighborhood.

I have ducks in the bator also! The first set of 6 goes on lockdown Sunday and the 2nd set of 7 goes on lockdown on the 15th. Does anyone here have Cayugas?

Twiley my white sebbie girl has tan feathers and my blue/grey boy has brown feathers ? Any ideas why they changed

Hey Mike !!!!!!!!! LOL @ me whirlin around in circles. LOL @ set up camera. Boy, that would have been a sight to see. I'm too old for all of that running around. Mike, I did see my girls on the computer a couple weeks ago, so they may have emailed your girls about the egg laying. Congrats on all of the eggs and sitting. I have 2 girls wanting to sit on eggs. I think I may try to put goose eggs under them. I had put 1 goose egg under 1 muscovy girl but it came up missing the next day. So, I"m looking for the snake that took it. I"ll post pics of him when I catch him and have him hanging from my pitch fork. Sorry to hear about your pea hen. Do I dare ask about the dog that committed the crime.

The dog was my sons he was out of town and its a pit bul. He went after my big paint gelding and caused hime to rip a big gash in his shoulder so to keep from uhhh helpin his dog out I kenneled him . Evidenlty to close to my peas pen and he was charging the fence when my peacock would display. Made 2 of my hens ram the other side of pen breaking their necks. Dog doesnt live in Louisiana anymore

Awwwwww. So sorry to hear about that. Man, that's not good. Glad that the dog isn't there anymore to do more harm.

If you need any pea eggs to hatch this year, let me know. Sorry again about your pea.

I have my friend here has peas everywhere so may be able to get all his eggs.
But yea after sewing up my horse and flipping out over my peas and barely keeping my wife from killing my son being the peas are hers. He had a choice dog goes or dog goes my way
