Well, looks like I was wrong about the temp. Just watched the news, and it's supposed to be 21 in the morning.

Oh well, one more night, I hope.

Mary, I think maybe the dogs ran into the faucet and it broke off-not sure. But it broke the pvc pipe too. It was wrapped in insulation and a feed sack, so it was insulated. Funny, it's the only one we wrapped, and it's the one that broke. It's just bad because the cutoff valve for my barn is right under this faucet, so i'm having to haul water. Not fun at all, but I think we're all doing that. The plumber is supposed to come back in the morning. I'm hoping it's the only one I'll have trouble with. And, of course Gary left yesterday for work. I really didn't think temps were going to get this low tonight. I could have sworn the weather guys said tonight wouldn't be as cold. Did I dream that??
 
If not dreaming then maybe wishful thinking?? LOL Monday night its supposed to get down to 28*...

Hope the plumber will be able to fix it tomorrow...if not, give us a call...Greg said he'd go fix it for you...

It's already as cold now (12:55am) as it was at 3:eek:o am Sunday morning here.
Just looked and it is 16 degrees. Monday night Tue. morn supposed to be around 20-23.
Have lost 1 small bantam to the cold so maybe that will be all that is lost. Guess I
didn't have them as protected as I thought.

Jeff, I will try to call you this week. Going to Lafayette Tuesday morning and have to
go get injections in my back at hospital in Hattiesburg,Ms. on Thursday. Am about to
back out of having the injections though.

Hoping today is the last day for hauling water. How's everything over at your place? It's definitely another cold one this morning.

Call if you'd like him to go. I know it has got to be rough hauling water..everything here is doing pretty good...just cold is all...all the animals made it out just fine...thank God!
Just watched the weather report...supposed to be cold for another 2 mornings...if I saw it right...yipee! LOL
 
Harry, good luck with the cold brother, it'll be warming up soon & then we have lots of rain to look forward to!

It was 17 here this morning but warming up quick!!

I think I'd rather the cold with the frozen ground than getting more rain and everything turned into mud again!! *sigh*
