"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

If I'm not mistaken. You are talking bout a hatch lift. It looks like a small shock. They run about 25 to 35 bucks. Just so happens I run a parts store in lake charles. Take a pick of what you need and send me a pm. Be glad to help.

Hey luvmychicken! I also live in Lake Charles, well, actually Grand Lake, maybe we can do some swapping sometime lol

There she is fluffed up to twice her size. I caught her plucking a few under feathers today then she pushed the eggs to where she plucked. I assume this was a move to keep them warmer. I haven't seen her come off yet, not even for her favorite treat...deer. She seems happy but growls if anyone tries to come in.

Such a pretty thing!! My Lucy sounded like a velociraptor when she was sitting. She talked a mean talk but never pecked or anything, even when I pulled out the extra contributions the others kept trying to make.

She's a pretty little thing! What breed is she? That's got to be such an exciting experience.

Blue Sumatra. Usually you can tell the lacing but just before she went to sit she had a dust bath. I am excited and nervous, I have been checking in on her so much she has resorted to the stink eye. She is usually a flighty bird and you can't get her to be still long enough to get anything but a blurry picture of her.

I think I just met one of those in mine. She just hopped off the nest for a quick bite and she heard someone else going in her nest not the empty one. She looked like a dog with the hair on the neck raised. Needless to say the other girl quickly got out of there.

Absolutely. I just got a few hatching eggs, but there's no guarantee they will hatch. I haven't even put them in yet so it will be days before I can even see if they will develop.

Do you plan on getting rid of any? I know you probably can't answer until you know how many hatch. Unless you plan on keeping all of them. I found a breeder with chicks . I'm thinking of getting some only draw back is I have to get 3 roo's. So I thought I'd see if any one else was interested . I could order extra pulets and split the order if I can't find them local. The first time I asked someone had eggs I hope you have better luck then they did I never heard back from them.
