So very beautiful! Thank you for taking the time to share!

Good Morning Louisiana La-yers! And what a nice cool morning it is. I have been loving this weather. Cool nights so lots of fresh air with no A/C and very mild days, so it is invigorating working outside and no sunburn!!! Yeah

Guys with peacocks I need help!!! Over the last few days bald patches started appearing on my peas necks, and I was at first really confounded, I don't have parasites or anything but I know the problem now!!!! The turkeys are plucking their necks bald! And the peas are just letting them! They have been together since hatching, and it doesn't even seem malicious. They just layed next to each other on the coop roof and Pat started to pluck like he was grooming or something. The pea almost seemed happy even. What's going on?! They free range together in a several acre pen.

What do I do? I love both my peas and my turkeys.

Wish I could help but I don't have turkeys so I never had this problem.

Feathers are high in protein and if the turkeys are not getting enough protein in their feed, they will pluck feathers. Chickens will do this too.

Interesting. I am due for a feed run today. I will try and find something with more protein in it then and see. I really hope its that easy of a fix. Thank you.

“Free” air conditioning is nice! I had to break down & put a blanket on the bed last night.
