"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

That is just amazing!!! WOW!

I wish today's weather would stick around for a while - and while I'm wishing, I wish I were at home instead of here at work so I could enjoy it even more! I do find that the heat & humidity of summer is harder on the young ones so I try not to do any hatches after about May either. Plus it's hurricane season & I sure dont' need to lose power during an incubation - not sure how it would work running the bator off a generator.

Jim & his friend Bob, who has a hot air balloon, left at 5 a.m. this morning to go to Natchez, Ms. for a commercial shoot for the tourism board. Lucky dogs!

That is a very cool video!

Usually by the time summer gets here I'm ready for a little break from hatching. However, I didn't think about the hurricane season -- good point.

Wow! Hot air ballooning -- how fun!! I hope they enjoy it enough for all of all. It's a gorgeous day to be doing it.

I put a divider in between these trays just after taking the pic, but the lil' guy already took a stroll over the other eggs (a week younger).

Hazel says hi.

Girl, right????!!?

I am thinking the other BR is a roo. Seems bigger, comb is just more pronounced, feathers are fluffier and stripes do not contrast as much.
