"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

First fire for the year and first meal cooked in fire place. Nothing like steak cooked over oak coals .I also grilled asparagus . If you use a fireplace you should get this grill. Pam

NICE!

My aunt used to cut lil pyramids of soap out of her favorites and put the lil piece in a satchet like wedding almonds come in and set them in her dresser drawers for the yummy smell lol. Not scratch and sniff but sorta like a sample? A soap chip card? Lol hmmmm

Imma have to order some now, your reviews are making me drool! How long is your wait list? We're gonna work you through winter!

Thank you for your kind comments!

Scratch & Sniff!  Good idea!  :D

I also thought about the soap samples. That is a great idea for those who really want to order the soap but want to smell a small sample first.

Its funny that this scratch & sniff/sample topic has come up.......because this morning when I was cutting a loaf of soap that I call "Lavender Abyss" I was telling the hubby (that was hovering, watching my fun) that I was thinking of cutting slivers off of the end pieces as samples to go into orders.  We are working on a few things to make even more improvements.....mostly for my cutting ability (or lack there of).  We are going to make a REALLY precise cutter for the big loaves.  I love it when they are lined up and they are all super straight and all the same size. :D   It makes my OCD happy!!!      I would love to have a cutter made by Bud Haffner(he has a shop on etsy).......but those are pricey!  I am sure between my hubby and I though we can do this!!!  Hubby used to work for a really good carpenter in his younger years.

If you ever decide to do samples, please let me know because I would like to sample the next level of scents to see if I can use those.

:hit  Obviously bad weather doesn't stop hungry raccoons from looking for a meal. I just lost 2 of my roosters - The "Picture of the Week" serama rooster Sal and my Japanese bantam boy Boss. From what I can gather the d*** thing opened two of the pens and the roosters sacrificed themselves so the girls could escape. They didn't stand a chance. :hit  The girls are okay. They were scared but unharmed. I'm so freaking upset right now. Here Sal was, enjoying his spot in the limelight and some nasty vermin has to go and kill my boy. Guess I'm buying padlocks tomorrow. That coon is dead but I don't want its cousins taking anyone else from me. :hit

OMG!! I was so upset when I read this. I am so sorry that this has happened. :hit :hugs

Glad that you got the coon. Keep on the look out for his cousins as well.

Its funny that this scratch

The bars I received were cut beautifully.  I love the "sample" idea.  My soap was beautiful, but I'm SO  about the smell!  When I pulled my Honeyed Ale soap out yesterday to make sure I got the name correct when I posted it, I left it sitting by the computer and I SO enjoyed the smell all day.  I think I'm going to let it sit here a while.  It was so relaxing.

:thumbsup
