"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Not a problem. I figured you had probably done your homework as manuka oil isn't something you commonly see around here. When I saw you mention it I had a flashback to my earlier years and time spent at my cousins place that had whole hillsides covered in manuka.

You spent time in New Zealand? I would love to go there.
Welcome to BYC!! Pam

I started 2 large batches of pineapple wine last night. Crossing my fingers it turns out ok. :fl

Thanks for the prayers.

Ah! Mauve Orph! I get it. Funny thing is this morning I got kind of a pink egg. It's pretty.

Yes, I grew up on a farm there - I moved here about ten and a half years ago. Everyone that I know that has visited has loved it and has said that it is worth the trip. I don't disagree, but I am a little biased. I enjoy living here and I enjoyed living there. Many similarities and many differences.

Well my sis did well for her test. They said for certain she has ulcerative colitis. She will have to wait for 2-3weeks for lab tests to find out if there is Celiac or Crones. She said she was feeling much better after the test......probably because she got some sleep :) We are relieved it's over. Now more waiting.

Still praying. Hope all turns out well.

Such a nasty day today. I haven't finished the shelter. But shingles are on and just need to add one more support and finish the painting. But the girls have already claimed it as theirs. Whenever it rains it is dry under the shelter and they just make nests out of the hay and stay warm and dry. It surprises me because they could just go into their coops which are also warm and dry.
