"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

I'm a December baby as well. :D

Happy Birthday. My daughter is as well. Today is her birthday. Every year it is exactly one week before Christmas. Lol.

That poster on th rsbbit thread is still going on and on and now calling herself a victim and calling into question Angelicisi's credibility. I quit responding, but I don't think Cracked Nut nor Angelcisi nor I nor Celie have said or done anything to her to harm her in anyway. (ChocolateMouse). It's a shame she has ruined that thread.

By the time you become a "crazy chicken lady (or man)", I'm pretty sure you are already out of the whole nasty "Normal" zone. I guess that's why I find so many people I like here!

AMEN!!!

From childhood many people feel the need to feel wanted, liked, and accepted. This leads them to "fudge" the truth to keep from hurting the feelings of others and in turn making those continue to like them. It takes a strong person to always tell the truth and when they do they tend to fall out of what society deems normal. When you are not normal you are not accepted by everyone. When you no longer require the acceptance of others to have a fulfilling life then you no longer understand why it was ever the other way. You cannot fault those that cling to those beliefs because it is their whole world they are trying to cling to, they know no different. A deceitful life may be cruel but it is their cross to bare, we all have one.

I will never fit into that category.

Late October here. I don’t believe in horoscopes but I get a kick out of reading about Scorpios. They never say anything good about us!

Busy here working w/my boss on next year’s budget. I get to leave early & go pick up Jim at the airport. I know he’ll be happy to get home where it’s WARM!!
November birthday here!

I wasn't sure how she worked it to HER being a victum. Still puzzling that one... After her response I reread mine, one last time, and I still stand by my post. I REALLY thought I was balanced. FOR ME ANYWAY...

Because, if I do need to apologize, I would "own" it.

A few year's ago a co-worker came to me and asked me how did her new outfit look. I told her that it didn't look good. She was SOOOO MAD!!! She stomped away. :somad So, she went to another co-worker to tell them what I told her. That co-worker's response was, "Now you know Julie will give you an honest opinion, so you should have never asked her what she thought. So you brought that upon yourself." Needless to say, she has never been back to ask my opinion about her work attire. :/

I don't know but I guess people want you to stroke and "ta ta" them and tell them what they want to hear? Is that how it goes? :idunno

I had this same conversation with my friend in Asheville . When she went back to the dressing room the sales lady looked at me and said thank god I said it made her look like bozo the clown! We both laughed quietly . Later that day she told her daughter what happened that I wouldn't let her by it. Her daughter looked at me and said thank you! And we both busted out laughing.Pam

LOL @ bozo the clown. :lau

Thanks for the warm welcome. We are really enjoying Louisiana. My husband has retired here. I hail from Alabama, but on the coast. My husband is from Kansas which I have spent a great deal of time in. We are happy to be settled here in beautiful Louisiana.

I have 4 Dominiquers currently the coyote took one of mine a few months back. We were having a terrible time when they started clear cutting. We had coyotes out and about in the middle of the day. Seeming displaced and hungry. Very ornery and very much not afraid of people. I also have 2 Golden Wyandotte left, and 3 Silver-Laced Wyandotte. We have had pretty much no incidences. They free range most of the day with lots of goodies mealworms, hot oatmeal on those cold mornings, and some fruit. Mostly, they forage and we put laying pellets, scratch, and shell in at night. Having a lot of beautiful eggs with very thick golden yolks. We couldn't be happier. Thanks for asking about our flock :) One we call Clara and one aunt Bee because they cackle on back forth so much.
