Next time... Good homemade wine, extra creepy tree, Jeff and a broody guinea. Kuntrygirl do you have room for stay overs??? You know we all will need it after that wine.
 
I got pulled over for headlight out....which is illegal because the Louisiana state law requires ONLY one working headlight for a vehicle to be legally driveable.... I had crocs on... and he let me go! I just KNEW he would give me a ticket for improper footwear, but he told me it was the inability to keep flip flops on that was the problem...So since crocs were completely covering from midfoot to the toes it was fine! So, I use them more often than my flip flops now, in case I jump in the car. Haven't had anyone at stores or gas stations gripe yet, but it is GOOD to know. Dont want to be stuck without gas cause I wore the wrong shoes!

Oh yea, the drunks have started their weeks worth of fireworks after the holiday. It's the only thing I don't like about this area. My girls are more scared of the fireworks then they were of the hawk and my dogs are twitchy little things to begin with.

Now you can't have flip flops???? It's been a while since I got pulled over. Jokes on them, my flip flops stay under my drivers seat and if a cop gets close I pull them out with my heal and slide them on. Looks like I need to buy a pair of slip on shoes to shove under there.

And about the pm misunderstanding. I actually thought it must have been a lurker that just was messaging trying to stir something up. I hate that your pm was misunderstood. And I agree that we all just want a helpful and friendly thread. I truly have been helped many times in many ways by coming here and reading or asking questions. Besides.....not everyone understands "Chicken People" so I figure we all need a place to go where at least one hobby we have is understood

Oh my!! I live a few blocks from my daughter in the same one entrance subdivision. I violate attire laws all the time. I'll be asleep and my granddaughter will call bec she wants me to bring her something. I never say no. That's the job of grandparents: don't say no. Lol. So, I jump in the car bare footed and night clothes to take her whatever she wanted.

PS. This is the place where I have been the best understood of my life. I really try not to talk about my animals too much to others. The fascination and passion are just not shared. Someone once said,"not everyone is interested in chickens. ". Imagine that.
 
Its not illegal to drive barefooted I know this as I just finished up a required drivers saftey course mandated by the great state of Ark for some past driving instances involving some of that vino and other alcoholic beverages ya'll all have such hankerings for. no they usuallly won't cite you for a broken headlight but they do have to and WILL pull you over to give you a warning and remind you that it needs fixed to keep you and others safe on the roads(just hope your sober when it happens) they can pull you for a lot of stuff folks really have no idea of tell you the truth and really half or more of the vehicles on the roads could be impounded at any given time hardly any will pass a roadside DOT inspection much less and emissions test the little $10 sticker in the windshield is a joke and MONEY MAKING operation is all LOL

and no I don't think I'm interested in guineas enough anymore to go thru all you all will be expecting from me LOL so there, put that in ya'lls pipes and smoke it LOL the desire is gone LOL

jipus sorry for blabbing off my big mouth too without having/hearing both sides of the story too (shot myself in the foot) it'll all be alright
