I just finished my last hatch and got 4 split coronations and 2 BA. Ducks 1 WH, 6 mallards, 4 golden layers, 1 mixed breed, 4 pekins, 1 Black swedish. Whew.. It sounds like a good hatch, but being I had 10 dozen pekin eggs, it really sucked. We had soo many power outages during this hatch. One was for 18 hours.

Julie I just had to tell you I finally got my broody hen! She is my crazy Barnevelder but I don"t care I am so happy. I can't get out here and do anything right now but I'm trusting in the Lord to have me back out in the yard one day! DH and DD will put some eggs under her and see what happens! I am praying for the Lord's mercy for all those in the floods path. God bless you all.

Hey Terri!! Just wanted to show you the color of my Golden Cuckoo Marans eggs!! Their just not dark enough but I ended up finding out from my buddy that hatched them they wern't dark when he got them. So I'm wondering if the GCM egg color is just not as dark as other Marans!!

So glad to see a thread that is Louisiana people!! I was wondering if anyone knows any one selling silkie chicks? I want 2 so bad but I havent been able to find any close. I live in Hammond, La and I will drive to get them!!!!!
