"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

I have to admit, I am a bit curious about what a lettuce, tomato and Brad Pit sandwich might taste like.

Even a BP sandwich sounds gross

I may have trouble eating salami for quite some time..........

Whew. I did some stuffs today! Finally get a break (at work lol) thanks to double duty last night prepping for making today an easy night! Mission accomplished!

I had to unhook and clean out all of our resivores for auto waterers (rabbitry has 2 and coops share 1). All have fresh rain water -50 gallons total, clean tanks and ACV :)

Rabbit trios have been selling like crazy. Easter is close but the trio's sold are being used for breeders. I only have one trio left. Well a few on reserve we are housing another few weeks but sold! Yay! Now I need more and my does are holding out lol but soon they should kindle again.

I hand tilled a 12x12 foot, a 5x6 foot & an 8x8 foot garden bed today along with half of the 20x15 garden. Then pulled out the tiller- but didn't get to fire her up yet.

Course I can name a few movie stars I wouldn't have minded in my single days to taking a bite out of their ***, but just making a wishful thought?! Plus I have been working as an extra for a little while, and know there is no phenomenal ability to acting, so they aren't fabulous to me anymore... the guy who does the fat hiding on films is who I admire... Lord knows I love those with the ability on pictures!!! Unless I am starving after a snowstorm plane crash, I aint eating anyone.... ever. Not sure what would have to happen for me to change my mind either... but it would have to be a full world nuclear war or some other weird crap like that... and then I would probably die from starvation anyway.... just gross.

There is an organic forage blend for chickens at Grow Organic. http://www.groworganic.com/omega-3-chicken-forage-blend-irrigated.html

For those of you looking for non-GMO and organic grains or chicken feed, I order through Azure Standard. I order 50 lb bags of organic "chicken wheat" (has some broken bits) for sprouting for $17.50. They do not charge sales tax and shipping is 8.5% of your order. They have a ton of bulk items and also sell most products offered by Whole Foods, Freah Market & Trader Joes. The catch: there is no storefront. You order once per month and pick up your order at a designated drop location (planned well in advance). There are now drop locations throughout Louisiana. www.azurestandard.com . I would be happy to provide more information if anyone is interested.

I was recertified for the NPIP yesterday. The awesome state vets came out and did the testing in the nasty weather. They are always so professional and friendly!

Happy Friday!

Yes I'm interested. Probably down south La though. Info please

Here are a couple of links and info on why the cyanide content rises so sharply after soaking milo seed. Not the dry seed, only the soaked and sprouting seeds.

There are plenty more sources that all say about the same thing. Some even say its ok to give them as long as you wait long enough for that level to come back down and/or just feed as "part" of your sprouted seed mixture. I would just rather avoid all that nonsense and just use one grain to sprout.Wo
Wow, incredibly important to know. I planned on using it as part of my mixture. I still can but I won't sprout it. The danger lies when the tail gets to 1/4". I plan on using it in my fermented feed. No tails. Thanks so much.
