We got Jazzy to stand still for a picture yesterday afternoon. The camera doesn't really pick up the green that shines off of his black feathers. But we really think he is a super cool looking boy. He is getting tons of new feathers in now so I can't wait to see how he looks when that is done. He is a ladies man too!! As soon as they are let out to run in the yard he tries his best to chase down a girl and show them he is a boy, lol.

He is stunning! His coloring is so unusual. Love the feathertude!

Def one of a kind, lol. He still isn't even quite a year old. So I am sure we still have plenty to get to know about him. He gave a little mock charge after the dog ran by yesterday. Keeping them in line too, lol.

That turkey breast in the slow cooker I made yesterday...GREAT!!! All I added was some ground black pepper and some garlic powder to the Lipton onion soup mix. I gave the link yesterday. So easy and all the food critics in the house ate it without complaining.

I finally got around to making my soap about 1 1/2 weeks ago and although the recipe said to let it cure for 4 - 6 weeks, I took a chance and tried it a couple nights ago and I LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!! I made oatmeal, honey and milk non scented. I was so proud of myself. I didn't have a reaction from not letting it cure for the required time, so I guess I'll be ok. But I will let the remaining bars set for the required time. I was surprised at how easy it was to make. I think I'm going to like it.

Now I have other things on my bucket list to try to make. I think the lab is officially open.

As crazy as things have been, I'm:
1. Lucky I remembered to cook something
2. Lucky I remembered to plug in the slow cooker (it's happened before

and NEVER on a day I'm home...it's a day when I get home at 5pm to a room temp slow cooker.
3. Lucky I had time to FEED them before I ran off to class.

So, taking a picture would have been pushing my luck too far! It was so good though, I'm going to make it again this weekend. I'll get a picture then.
