broke scale...

I had to get out a new scale that I had got on clearance just in case I needed an extra.  Well, I needed an extra because I tried to weigh some of my Nuggets and they broke the scale   It was given to me long ago by someone that didn't want it anymore, so no biggie.  So got the new scale figured out an weighed them.  4 are right at 5lbs 8oz and one at 5lbs 14oz and the biggest (the one I suspect may be a roo) is 6lbs 5oz.  Not too bad for their age.

Been a great day really lol I got ovated for my ovations today AND got a raise at work. Have been working on getting the pool ready and the mistress is buying me tons of flowers to plant in the gardens I made around the pool deck! build them and people will fill them!
Getting prepped to process the last of our broilers this weekend. They're trying to mate my hens! It's so sad to see them fall down and I laugh and laugh at chubby boys trying Soooooo hard can't wait til this batch is done. Lol the hoop coop will be gone and we will be building a matching large coop to our smaller wood coop.
Tended gardens,
packed up a box to get out on the mail finally, found out the cherry tree has cherries on it! Woot woot! Been busy and I'm exhausted but hey you're not living right if your not tired right?

Is it weird that I am planning a "theme" for my chicken house????    I am cracking myself up!  My girls need some curtains, artwork and wallpaper

I think the cuter the better! Maybe when people see it's cute,clean and no poo smell they will stop being against people having back yard flocks. Can't wait to see it.

Chickenbelle has BBS and Wheaten Ameraucanas. I have some hatching eggs I'm hatching for the Easter-hatch-a-long from her.


Well I haven't been too active on her the last short bit mainly because of how sick I have been getting. That and the hormones. I got an ultrasound today and my ONE baby is at about 7 1/2 weeks development.
