:( I'm calming down. Slowly. Anger wasn't exactly the response I expected but boooooy oh boy its the one I got heh.

You'll get your money and if you don't I know which site they will not be able to get it removed from. Once you let them know all your documentation . That you want to end this amicably that you don't want to post reviews all over the internet but you will if no refund in a reasonable amount of time. I know you have already done all this. So now let's all prey they do the right thing in say 48 to 72 hours. You have to go buy business days can't include the week end. Then once you get your money post what you like but know most forums let hatcheries or breeders that support them remove complaints or scrub it clean as they call it. Their is one site that doesn't do that. Pam

:gig good luck scrubbing me clean :lau I'm a dirty, dirty girl who's halo needs hooks to stay securely in place at this time.
Had to spend a lot of money and call in a favor to a fellow CX farmer to rectify this on our end for a specific customer as well as have a pallet (750lbs) of feed bought and paid for that needs to be eaten not wasted, at least we are temp control storing it for now. 3 other people would also have been affected by this error who wanted live chicks, not dressed birds, this is when I get mad. Multiple people let down. :(
So we opted for the refund of the dead and were told a full refund will probably be issued. Any more that die now are our responsibility, I understand why that rule is in place tho. We did not want more arguing and another box of dead chicks so we left it at waiting for confirmation of refund sometime today she said an email should happen.

Every year when I get girl scout cookies, the first thing I do is take a marker to the serving size. I change the word "cookies" to "boxes." So the serving size is 3 boxes.

On a happy note...our sweet young rabbit doe, Amy (farrah Fowler) is doing an awesome job at raising her first litter! And yes Sheldon is her beau this time around. Our pedigrees will have an interesting set of names :gig hehehehe.

I totally get it but, when working with live animals, especially baby chicks you can't count them till you have them. And even after that things can happen. I know I felt just like you when I got my crested cream legbars dead and watched the others die one by one it was horrible . If you get in a real bind p m me I will help you no problem. Pam

On the washing chicks note, I've done it several times. I use my sink and make sure the water is warm but not hot, something you'd put a baby in. Then I take each chick and wash with Down, rinse well, then slightly towel dry them gently. I have a towel folded double then double again on the side that I make a sort of nest out of. I mess/toddle the bottom double folded portion, put the chick in, and gently cover them with the top double folded portion. I put the chicks in the towel all together, one by one, then I start blow drying them. I put the dryer on cool, since mine gets hot, and also use the little cool air button on them. I hold a chick at a time and leave the others in the towel. They freak out at first but love it. I just make sure not to blow their heads so no air is forced in their lungs. You have to kind of fluff them as you dry, or their feathers won't fluff well. Once they are reasonably dry I put them in a dry towel nest like the previous one, and go one by one until they are all huddled up and cozy inside. They love the towel. They all huddle together and peep softly. Once they are all blow dried I put them in a brooder with a heat lamp.

I hope that helps! I'm sorry it's a little late.
