If I'm reading it right it sounds like they have all this meat to sell and will sell it to you any way you want it not that they will butcher & cut up meat you bring them!! Maybe I'm wrong!!

Eventually they'll all merge. Hopefully. I can tell you I have one little black bantam mix that is definitely "low chicken on the totem pole"- everybody picks on her - but she's quick to get out of the way. Keep your pullet in the kennel a couple of days so they can get to know ea other through the wire, & "merge" them at night when they are all asleep in the coop. Give them lots of treats the next day to keep them busy -- throw some weeds or something they have to work at, like scratch to keep their little chicken brains off of picking on her.

OK doing the happy dance here! NINE chicks!!! 8 Welsummers & 1 olive egger (my marans Myrtle crossed on my Am. roo Eagle that I threw in just for kicks) - so I am back in the Welsummer game! and these eggs were fabulous -- very dark terra cotta & beautiful size & speckles, too!
For shipped eggs & considering all the troubles I had, I am happy with the final result. NO MORE hatching shipped eggs -- from here on out, my flock is CLOSED!
