How old are yours?? I tell you what I've been inpressed with the BR's.. My 1st 3 hens I got was from a friend. They were laying when I got them and took about a week break after we brought them home and I have consistency got 2-3 eggs a day since. They have not slowed down at all during the winter!! I have to laugh though.. The pullets I thought would lay first (the ones with the big comb & waddle that were cherry red) wasn't the one it was the one with the little pink comb and hardley no waddle!!!

Yes he is so hot!!! LOL I've read that his toe is good...it is his knee...poor guy...he's got 2 weeks to heal...

I have a 21' x 16' Area. My coop is not enclosed but it is covered... And is 3 sided with a open front!! Well here's a pic... (It wasn't quite finished in the pic!)

Since this pic was taken I've doubled the roost space and it has 8 nesting boxes. (Though they only use one!!) Don't have any recent pics cause the whole front is covered by tarps right now!! How many chickens do you think I could put in here without them being too crowded???
