"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

This is what I bought. Beekissed said to buy a water wiggler and put the probe insie it and lay it on top of the eggs. Then drape thermometer outside. It is more accurate than anything I have had. I wore it out and now need to buy another.

I can't get my computer to post it but look up clown water wiggler on amazon. $1.25 + $ 2 shipping.

These have saved me because I had three different kinds and never could stabilize them. Beekissed said that this was the most accurate because it sits on the eggs.

I used to use a water wiggler when I had my styrofoam bator & they did seem to work very well. Haven't needed it since I got my Brinsea a couple years ago.

Yes it does Chica :)

Got a message from the seller saying he doesn't know what is going on but my parcel isn't the only one being sent back to him back. I just hope he doesn't resend the same eggs. LOL

I'm so sorry to hear this!
Edited to add - I sent some citrus to my friend in NY - mailed them priority on Dec 18th. She finally got them yesterday. Mail delivery is crazy this time of year.

It may be me but I think the response I got was rather rude. Its common sense to separate wounded birds. Do you think I got 4 males or 3m 1f. Since getn thesr I have hatched other quail.

That does seem a little snarky. Answers like those make me afraid to ask questions. Glad y'all are more patient.

Hey guys. Its been a long time since I last posted. I've had to downsize on the number of birds I have, but I'm trying to tell myself quality over quantity. Do any of you raise silver laced wyandottes? I'm trying to find some nice hens to upgrade to for my cockerel. He filled out much nicer than I expected. The current hens are docile and good layers, but that's about all they have going for them. They are badly colored, scrawny, and pinch tailed. If I can only get two or three really nice hens, or even pullets close to POL, I'd be happy. I'm open to shipping, and I'm located near Baton Rouge. Thanks in advance guys!

This guy is a monster by the way. He almost reaches my knee if he is standing upright and alert. I think I could ride him around the pasture if I wanted..

Yea I sent a parcel to Canada on the 4th and it has yet to arrive. I'm beginning to think it may have been stolen.

Hi Forgetful. I'm new to BYC and raising chickens. Just wanted to say you have beautiful birds.

Thank you! I used to have many more breeds, over a dozen, but I've had to cut back. Now I only have the wyandottes, some young black copper marans, and a few mixed breeds. What birds do you own?

Right now I have hatchery stock barred rocks. I've got Bielefelder eggs coming soon for my first try at hatching. I'm excited and can't wait to get them started. :)

Your welcome to look at my photos. I have a newly built coop and run. At present I'm adding on to the run to give the birds more room.
