Well before we knocked the levee down around it, it looked much deeper. I am thinking that most of it is about 6 ft. deep, and 10 ft. deep at it's deepest point. I am afraid that it will silt in a lot, so we may be renting some more equipment to dig it a little deeper. I have seen ponds this deep silt in so much that they are nothing more than a foot or two deep now. That is the only good thing about it being this dry is that it will be easier to make changes to the pond! I don't believe we are going to line it with anything, but that too is subject to change. I find that the more plans I make, the more I change them so I just roll with the flow!
