"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

I got one like that last week, don't know which chicken laid it, but sure felt sorry for it. It was a double yolker.

Oh wow! Yours is extremely wide. I haven't cracked mine yet. I didn't think about it might be a double yolk.

One of my very favorite people is staying with us for the week, so I was up extra late last night. Good thing, too, because just after midnight I caught a big possum with a sussex chick in its mouth. Must've been it's first visit to the coop, because it couldn't find the exit. It was a female.

Had a long, exhausting day of work. Started feeling dizzy during supper and went home. Better now, not sure what it was. When I went to lock up the chickens a little while ago, I found this:

400

It's living underneath a hay bale I have stored on top of the brooder. Hoping husband can dispatch it. :(

What a day! Hope you feel better.

Camping. Sorry to hear your still having possum problems and now a snake. Are you still going to build a new coop or something bigger? Seems like I remember you had plans to do something at one time.
