Them hens are sumthin eh? They take a beating and heal up with only the slightest help from us, usually.

Actually, hatching takes ForEver! So they probly wont hatch untill day 21 starts, this afternoon... I was having early hatchers before, piping on day 19, but i reassessed the temp and decided to bring it down two tenths of a degree so thats fixed :) i'll keep u especially updated! I was scared to text u before 8 AM :gig

First, :hugs thats tough :(

From the research i did when i was in that position, without more info, i would lean toward respitory infection. Mine had Pox and i figured that out becuz of the black spots. Have you had pox, or vaccinations? Its getn too cool for mosquito driven pox, and its been so wet, And cool, makes me worry bout respitory. Any sneezing? Anyone else affected? If she looks like the only sick one u should def quarenteen, makes a big difference. Somtimes they can just have an injured eye. Pretty lookin' face, i hope shes okay!

She didn't have pox, but others did. It came early this year and I'm thankful for that. I was musing in another thread that the EEs, small-combed orp mixes, and younger pullets didn't seem affected by pox... Everything with a large comb (that didn't have it last year) got it. But none of it was severe. I didn't inter ever at all, except one pullet with wet pox who I immediately quarantined.

Anyway, I've heard sneezing and snot gurgles, but can't tell who it's coming from. Soot is the only one with weepy eyes. I'm also leaning toward respiratory.

Should I try the VetRX first or jump straight to tylan? I have both.
