Has anyone here ever bought any Ameraucanas from breeders located here in Louisiana? I will be expanding my flock this year and I would like to get some ‘true’ blue egg layers.

Wednesday's my next day off but I will be unconscious until noon or so (working until 6 am tomorrow). Off Thursday, too. I don't have a problem running out your way to pick them up. Next day off after that is Monday.
There used to be some in the Market Bulletin, do you get that?
I got mine from Zachary Feed, but they just order from a hatchery.
Tomorrow after noon is alright with me. Thank you but i have to check on my place kinda soon anyway. we could meet anywhere youd like on that end of town doesnt need to be your house.
Thanks for the replies. I’ll go ahead and order from Cackle. I’m getting some black Ameraucanas, Welsummers with a roo and a few more white Leghorns. 15 total.

I've been fighting it myself. My birds don't seem to mind it but I would much rather give them something dry to play in.
I’m going to buy a wood chipper to get rid of limbs. I have been burning them. With all the oak limbs that I cut or that fall naturally I will have plenty of wood chips for the runs.
