"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Had a sunny day and since im off for a couple days after daughter had ACL surgery; built the ducks a new nesting box now that therr 100% free range. Each box is 15” wide, 16” tall in front sloped to 14.5” in rear, so water drains off (will be topping with scrap tin ) and 15” deep. Also have a 7” platform to jump on before stepping over the 3” lip. Whole thing is 9” off ground.

Moved there feed container too. It holds 50 lbs easily . I will have to dig up the dimensions of how i did it, but i know i have a 30° slope for feed to trickle down.

We have one that went AWOL last week. I wish it was her son, the bantum rooster. I know were going to eventually get busted by the City.
I have a d’Uccle cockerel crowing in my yard that I am counting down the days on. I’ve got a family with screamy kids who LOVE waking up at 6 am, even on weekends, and going outside next door, a fire station down the street, and neighbors who never leave on my other side, so so far no worries. Getting nervous though 😳

got an email earlier about some storm prep for our dept… so i will be at bluebonnet underpass tomorow testing the pumps. And other parts of st george.

I may have asked before, but do u live on southland ct or brook hollow by any chance . (Topo)
