If anyone else is interested, I have ten 5 week old silver laced wyandotte pullets for sale. 15 a piece. Eunice la. Chicks are fully feathered and off brooder lamp. The coop is also for sale for 200. It has nesting box with outside access door. Just got nest blocked for chicks
@grizleyguy I am interested as well in your wyandottes. I have 3 girls now who are wyandottes and they are lovely birds. I also keep Marans, any ideas on who might be selling Marans pullets?
I prefer to pick up myself, I don't mind the lovely ride in Louisiana to pick up.
Thank you.

Cool deal

Thank you, I need to talk with Hayden. They are getting ready to start building on the lot next door to me, so we have moved our chicken coop and I may need him to throw together a grow out pen for me. I will keep in touch, I am so excited! :celebrate:wee

Do any of you buy from the mills / co Ops? saw another thread (in Minnesota) that local mills are 10$. cheaper on flock raiser. That would make it 17$ a bag around here. For a 20% protein 50 lb bag.

@alwaystj9 ; are u buying from beasley or triparish? What is zacharys bag lookin like

@Ponyiqandhens2 / @grizleyguy , st landry feed in opelousas or The grain mill in new iberia (rail & seed feed i think from my younger days) ? @Ursuline Chick what are yall mill’s options

Zachary feed does not have their own mix, I buy the nutrena feed there & it's been around $20/50 # of lay pellets. They also have lone star feeds but I don't care for that brand. I have to go by triparish on Thursday, I can ask there, then. I like the feed that Kentwood coop mills and it is usually cheaper but it's a long haul out there and back. I only get it when I have to get goat minerals, about once a year.

I buy Nutrena Naturewise and a Layer feed from Lonestar ( regional family owned mill out of texas) at Feed Pro in Sunset, not sure the price as it waswith a load of horse feed..they also have a 22% chick starter.. look up Lonestar Feed Texas, they give the most in depth nutritional panel i have seen if you clickon the feeds pdf file
