Yep; me too. I have so much hay in my trailblazer from bringing hay out to my horses that now my husband refers to my car as my "hay wagon".

I understand about the hay. When I can't get someone to pick up hay for my sheep and goat at the feed store, I will pick up have in my SUV and hay is ALL OVER the place in the back.

This just so reminds me of my trip to Monroe with the 2 Buff Orphs I brought Joe. My MIL and I were just driving down the road and all of a sudden we'd both roll the windows down and a few minutes later we'd roll them back up. And it continued the whole trip!! It was funny at the time!!

Another cute baby on Happy Acres! DD says,.. you sure have one pretty "incubator",.. I agree

Our broody hen of our turned out to be a bad Mama,.. so we brought the chicks inside,.. turned out to be a good thing because they were saved from the pox,..
Wanted to tell everyone what I told Julie,.. we have spoken to several people in out area that have just had,. are going through or just gotten Fowl Pox,..
the mosquitoes are sooo bad this summer ,.. biting flies too,.. anyway,.. if the Pox is spreading,.. it so much easier to vaccinate and inexpensive.,.. whish we had known earlier,. we sure would have vaccinated,.. $6-12 for 1000 doses depending on if your doing chicks or older birds,. that's for chickens,.. I think it a little more for Turkey Pox vaccine.

Last night i moved my roos to the pen where the new babies were and put the new babies with the pullets and everyone seems to be getting along really well they are even sharing their dust bathing spots

It is HOT outside. I went out about an hour ago to change out the waterers so the animals could have some fresh cool water and to change out the kiddie pools for the geese and ducks. I almost joined the ducks in the pool.

There is a lot of trees for shade over here and I have a lot of waterers placed under the trees but I still have to get those shade huts for the waterers that are in the open. The water gets hot in a couple of hours.

And today was a cooler, HOT day. I hope we don't get in the 100's this summer.
