"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

I thought about that, but having to milk a goat EVERYDAY just isn't reasonable for me! I wish I had the time!

x2.

That is the ONLY reason I have been putting it off for all of these years. Perhaps when I thin my poultry flock, I will have time but right now, it is not physically possible for me to milk every day.

It's Julie's fault! She's got everyone sold on those great sheep now,. Olivia spent the night sweet talking her Daddy and showing him Julie's pics,.. his grandfather used to have some so he has a soft spot for them,..

Brian is headed up to Barksdale AFB to instruct for a couple of weeks and she thinks he should "pick up a couple of lambs" on the way back,..

LOL@ it's my fault.

Please keep us posted.

Ok, one breeder called me back and they wanted between $450 and $750 for a breeding ram

That might be a worthy investment if I actually had a ewe to breed it to lol. I will keep you posted on the prices of ewes. I may change my mind on them once they give me the price!

There was an ad on CL for Katahdin sheep...

13 hair sheep rams. Some Kathadin and some Katahdin - dorper mix. All are intact.

4-6 months old, 35 to 80lbs $100- $80

On farm processing welcome.

Not here either!! I've been wanting goats for the past 6 years and my hubby kept shooting it down. I think he wouldn't mind now if I got them but truthfully for me right now it's just a waste of my money!! One day I will have me a few dwarf pygmy goats no doubt!!

I am posting this from this darn I phone so I don't know
If I will even get posted. Had to put on reading glasses just
To see what to do.
Haven't figured out how to post pictures and I am having computer problems
Tonight but don't feel like fooling with it right now.
My oldest daughter got married July 1 and her and her husband told me to get them
Chickens for a wedding gift. I have them 15 black australorps that turned out to be 12
Pulleys and only 3 Roos. Go figure,if I had hatched those for myself it would have been reversed.
Had her with me yesterday and she had me get her a trio of self blue oegb.
Now the next purchase I am going to blame on Julie. I ended up getting 3 lavender muscovies. That
Is one bird I said I would never get but I guess with all the talk on here about them I couldn't pass
Them up.

Uh..., probably because you're tired of clearing brush? You think that you could just let these sheep do the work for you? You're absolutely right! They would do it much more quickly and efficiently than you could given the same amount of time.

Next time I go to clear pasture space I'm letting my two horses in first. I spent one whole summer clearing a small pasture only to find that a lot of what I cleared the horses would have eaten had I let them. I'm doing it the easy way from now on.

BTW, nice to see you on here again.

That was the plan, but with goats. Only problem is the fencing for goats. If I could just use a few strands of hotwire with sheep, then they would make more sense.
