"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Well, I picked up my chickens from Terri this afternoon. We had a pleasant visit and she showed me around her place. She has a very nice setup. Love those peas!

Those Blue and Splash Orpingtons are HUGE! If you haven't seen pictures of those, you won't believe their size. They are absolutely gorgeous!!

Also, picked up a Black Copper Marans rooster, a black copper hen, and a Barred Rock hen. All beautiful birds!

It's very cool to be able to buy/sell/trade with people in or around Louisiana. I'm so thankful for this Louisiana thread. Whose idea was this anyway?

Uh..., probably because you're tired of clearing brush? You think that you could just let these sheep do the work for you? You're absolutely right! They would do it much more quickly and efficiently than you could given the same amount of time.

Next time I go to clear pasture space I'm letting my two horses in first. I spent one whole summer clearing a small pasture only to find that a lot of what I cleared the horses would have eaten had I let them. I'm doing it the easy way from now on.

BTW, nice to see you on here again.

That was the plan, but with goats. Only problem is the fencing for goats. If I could just use a few strands of hotwire with sheep, then they would make more sense.

Hotwire with sheep will work. You would probably need three strands. My dad used to use hot wire to keep them away from certain areas.

man not duckies lol gosh maybe next easter the easter bunny will leave me some duckies lol they are just too cute
