Sounds like everyone's having a great day. I know I"m whooped!! I've covered the whole run in hay and now I have some happy happy girls!! I cleaned out all the nest boxes and put fresh hay. Clean out all the waterers. I also bought extra feed so hopefully it'll last till we get back and my MIL won't have to go buy any!! I'm ready to leave them!!

Terri Ann,. we would LUV to see pics on your page,.. I know it takes a lot of time though,. but we look forward to it,..

Julie,. who would have thought you would have to go to 4 places just to get hay!? You are supposed to be on vacation,..well I hope you got a good nap,..

and I just know you have some great egg recipes too,.. I took that picture because red and green and yellow are my favorite colors together,.. it was so pretty and it all came from our garden,.. it was so good and fresh and was truly gourmet scrambled eggs!
I know folks here on BYC really understand how cool it is to eat what we have worked to grow,.. or gather eggs from our own hens and cook a sausage and chicken gumbo from our own meat,.. things most people these days will never get to do,.. we are truly blessed,.. and being from Louisiana,.. we all know how to cook it best!!!

Missi,.. your run looks so nice and clean and fresh,.. a chicken Heaven,.. ours are getting over the Pox,.. it's been all over our area and no one I know here has escaped it,.. I have gone through a giant bottle of iodine and we always look like we are bleeding to death when we are finished dabbing everyone,..
