BOy today seems to be dragging so to take up some time I made two pot holders lol they match my kitchen now lol

Mama tried, I'll give her that, she used to be an outstanding seamstress & made a lot of our clothes before ol' "Arthur-itis" set into her hands. She has a good sewing machine but I'm scared to death of the thing - I just see me sewing my finger to it.

It's a good thing Jim learned how to sew a button on when he was in the Air Force, or we'd be stuck using a stapler on our clothes forever.

As soon as I get another job, I'm using my first paycheck on a Brinsea Octagon bator.

Another pretty fall-ish day here, I'm off to a Wally-world run while the dew dries then home to cut the front forty. Silly hens; I let them out this morning & then walked out to get the paper -- every single one of them followed me down the driveway! I felt like the Pied Piper or something-- had to go get a bucket of feed & entice them back - don't want them on the highway!

Julie my peas were calling like crazy yesterday evening - I had the windows & doors open & a train went by & every time it honked, they honked back -- it was so funny!

You will not regret buying a Brinsea! Love mine!! I've had the air off and my windows open since Tuesday!! It's been lovely outside, sure wish it would stay like this.

I bet that is something to hear with your peas!! I keep throwing it around about getting some. Maybe once the new coop is built I can talk hubby into building me a pea pen!!

My hubby call me the Mama Hen cause mine do the same. I swear they hear me walk out the door and come running!!
