G'day everyone.Been raining here today...blahhh...I should have known it would because I had a day of good work planned.Got the girls a big playhouse thingy from a yardsale over the weekend.It needs some cleaning,and I think I'm gonna repaint it. They have one of the lil plastic slide thingys thats funky colors and I decided I'm gonna paint it pink,white,and purple to match the playhouse and I'm gonna paint their lil basketball goal too to match it. Also had a couple other outside paint projects,but....
Anyway,figure I'll just do some housework and then make their chalkboard for them.Gotta repaint their room(from arms reach down...lol...) and then I got some of the blackboard paint and a couple pieces of luaun and some 1x2's.Going to make them a chalkboard for their room and one for me for notes....lol.

Last time I checked.. I think I have under 100 headof chickens...I think...lol...about 30 Orps(grown or almost),15 Silkie/Showgirls(grown or almost)and about 20-30 younguns between S/SG,Orps.and BLRW,BR and some black broilers....BUT... I have 15 adult Button Quail and around 30-40 young Buttons.

Well...I'ma get off here for a bit and attempt some housework...lol...

Omigosh & here I was feeling bad because I have 21 chickens & need to cut back to about 15!!
Less than that, if I want to hatch some more...which I do....it's almost a compulsion.....

Well, I got the nest boxes in one of the coops finished and almost one in the other. I'm hoping this weekend I can get the door made and the seperation complete and then I'm done in there! Don't planning on doing anything else to this one!

Thanks!! I tell you that one was easier than the other one. It's about a foot shorter and it is a pain to get down that low!!
