On the other hand , I am glad you found some Llamas so close to home and I hope you get the one or ones you like . You gotta buy a few hundred pounds of bacca to put in their hay so they can spit .

Ms Martha over in Texas is still rooting for them . Ms Martha I am glad to see you stay true to your roots . Unlike someone else on the forum !!!

We have 2 day old baby Modenas . They are from my biggest pair . Dad is solid White and Mom is what is called gazzi . When my wife and daughter get back from the Saints game tonite ,
I will get my wife to take some pictures and post them . They are so tiny and cute

Yes, I simply must root for the Tigers. I still have family and good friends in St. Landry parish.

Sorry...but what is a Modena? Is it a little goat?

Well, to be honest, I wasn't born in Louisiana. I was born on the Air Force base in Missouri. We moved to Louisiana when I was young after my father retired from the Air Force, so no roots here.

No ma'am it is a breed of pigeon , the body shape makes them look like a toy sized chicken . They are one of the most popular breeds and especially in our state , in fact the President of the International Modena Club is from New Orleans . Well he was the past President he resigned recently . I have had and raised pigeons longer than chickens , we have had chickens for about two years now , and I am still learning , never knew they could be so fun and entertaining as well .

When are we going to see pics of your pigeons?

Ms Martha let me back up , they are one of the most popular show breeds , they aren't good fliers at all ;like the Homer Racing Bird ; there are probably more breeders and keepers of the racers than any other kind .

Soon as I can get my wife to show me how again , cause I am not as tech savvy as she is . Her and our daughter went to N.O. this weekend to watch the Saints play . The company
my wife works for gives the managers a free weekend and game every year and I let Corrie go in my place so she and her MOM can have a girls weekend together . They don't get to spend that much time together because Corrie and her husband live in Monroe and I think it's important for a Mother and daughter to have some fun , down time to their selves .
