Thanks for all the kind remarks concerning Bear, I think he will not be pulling another one like that again. There is an Italian Festival a few blocks from us, the weekend after next and I think, Bear will be staying inside, while it is going on!!! LOL

As for my ducks - the neighbors dogs got them... the white/black dog had blood all over him. Of course, the neighbors have said nothing about apologizing... I don't expect them too. Another part that sucks is the fact that the hubby is out of town right now. They always let the **** dogs out when he's gone - guess they figure that I'm not going to say anything to them.... Anyway.... the dogs dug UNDER the gate to get my babies. I'm super ****** and still hurting. I wanted to stay in the house and cry and mope all day... but I have my clinical this afternoon (which I am going to be late for & don't really care right now) and have paperwork on top of paperwork. I am really bummed about this. It has been YEARS since I have had any kind of duck or chicken, and this is what happens.

My son has already started asking about what happened to his duckies.

On the plus side, hubby told me that I could get some more.... He told me that he will beef up the pen as soon as he gets home. I have thought about adding some electric wire on the outside of the pen. But, those two dogs wont be a problem anymore.... But just trying to be on the safe side.

So, does anyone have some duck eggs for hatching??

TruBluCG, I am so sorry to hear that the neighbor's dogs got your ducks? Do you need me to drive there to help you resolve that problem with the neighbors???? You know ,I really don't mind at all. Would be my pleasure. Just say the word. I hadn't had a good road trip since college. Past due for one.

Were you able to take pics of the ducks and the bloodied dog? I'm sure they would say that doesn't prove anything but at least you would have pics of Satan's Mascot with blood on him.

I wish I had extra duck eggs for hatching because I would sure give you some. Does anyone else have some duck eggs for her?

When I put out the scratch in the morning they all come running, but she will go some feet away and peck around the plain ground, then maybe realize the scratch and peck a little, tonight I gave each one a cherry tomato (a favorite) and she sort of couldn't hold onto it, but she seems to walk fine, BUT tonight I noticed that her tail feathers are sort of curling over to the side.

Any ideas? something is wrong. Help please!

Does anyone drink Rice Milk? I have 2 coupons to get 2 free containers of rice milk but I'm not sure what it taste like.

I have drank all kinds of milks from my vitamix. They all seem to taste about the same. Processed milks from the store are different though...
